The Mission

Mix 94.9 is on a mission to help find a home for pets in the Tri-State. Each day, we post a photo of a pet up for adoption on the Mix 94.9 Facebook page and 949cincinnati.com. So far, in 2018, there have been 150 confirmed adoptions due to the Mix Pet of the Day program (and most likely more that weren’t reported to us)! Midday personality Ray heads up this initiative.

Spotlight on Winter

Here’s one of Ray’s favorite adoption stories:

Winter is a beautiful Great Dane who came into the rescue with 3 puppies: Wren, Wednesday and Whimsy. The puppies got adopted instantly, but Winter stayed in foster care for months because no one wanted a grown, slightly older Great Dane, since they’re not particularly known for long life spans. Thankfully, Winter *finally* found her fur-ever home, thanks to the good folks over at Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue!
