Tim

Tim moved from the Motor City to Cincinnati in 2007 and joined Q102 in 2015. As a Detroit native, it seems only natural that he realized he wanted to pursue a career in radio while visiting the Pontiac plant at 12 years old. Tim and his brother went to the plant with their dad for “take your kids to work day.” They watched him put on radiator hoses every two minutes for eight hours. “While I was happy he did that for our family, I knew then that I wanted to do something fun. And something creative and working with music and people,” says Tim.

Since joining Q102, Tim has been a part of a number of great events, including a city favorite, 513 Day! Some of his favorite giving back moments include filling three semi-truck trailers for the food bank, finding a kidney for a local softball coach and connecting strangers who helped each other during the Flying Pig, but got separated.

Tim lives in Clifton with his partner, Chris. Together they run their lifestyle renovation brand Resist The Boring. They have a dog named Nick. They are not sure if he’s a beagle or a treeing walker coonhound, but he loves to cuddle and communicate!

When Tim isn’t on air, he enjoys spending time with family and friends. He loves checking out new restaurants and breweries, and rehabbing houses. He enjoys spending time anywhere that has a patio.
