Fritsch

Unlike her co-workers, Fritsch didn’t always dream of working in radio. She was sitting in a journalism class at Northern Kentucky University, when the general manager of Q102 came in to speak. At the end of his presentation, he asked if anyone was interested in becoming a radio intern. “I raised my hand and thought radio sounded like a fun career,” she recalls. “I had been in college for three years and was so confused about my future. But once I started interning at Q102, I knew radio was perfect for me.”

The Covington, KY, girl has now been with the station for more than 20 years. She's experienced a slew of memorable experiences, including interviewing Justin Timberlake. He was casually sitting there eating a salad with his Calvin Klein underwear and change of clothes tucked under his chair, while Fritsch was totally freaking out. But, not even JT could compare to her favorite experience to date—announcing she was pregnant on air with Jeff and Jenn!

When she isn’t on air, Fritsch loves spending time with her daughter, Penelope, and life partner, Scott. The three amigos. Traveling is at the top of their to-do list. Fritsch loves traveling to new places with her family and creating lifelong memories with their daughter. She’s looking forward to knocking Disney World, Costa Rica, St. John’s and parts of Europe off of her list.
