DUKE

WUBE • B-105 | 10am–3pm Monday–Friday

Known as an animal lover, Duke Hamilton and his wife, Barbara, share their 150 acres of land in Pendleton County, KY, with a slew of critters. Their beloved Doberman Blue, a number of barn cats and a herd of pygmy goats to name a few.

Throughout his career, Duke has met a number of celebrities. The one encounter that stands out amongst the rest is an interview with Reba McEntire. A rainstorm forced Duke to interview the country singer, songwriter and actress in the women’s restroom at Riverbend Music Center.

Duke’s 40-year career with B-105 has been filled with a number of memorable moments. Being inducted into the Country Music Radio Disc Jockey Hall of Fame in 2003 is his personal favorite.

When he isn’t on air, Duke enjoys riding his UTV on the trails of his farm, going out to eat and visiting his six grandchildren.

B-105's Duke Hamilton an On-Air Legend

Duke has seen everyone from Merle Haggard to Garth to Blake Shelton top the country charts. As you will see in this video, this Country Hall of Famer is one-of-a-kind.
